# How to edit your display name and profile photo

Your WhatsApp display name and profile photo are managed in Meta Business Manager — not inside Patagon AI.

1. Log in to Meta Business Manager at business.facebook.com.
2. Go to Business Settings > Accounts > WhatsApp Accounts.
3. Select your WhatsApp Business Account.
4. Click the phone number you want to update.
5. Edit the Display Name and upload a new Profile Photo.
6. Submit for Meta's review. Display name changes require Meta's approval and can take between 1–3 business days.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Your display name must comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business naming policies. Names that are too generic, contain URLs, or resemble Meta's own branding will be rejected.
{% endhint %}

Once approved, the new name and photo will appear automatically to leads who start a conversation with your agent.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.patagon.ai/en/troubleshooting/display-name-photo.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
