# How to monitor your WhatsApp number health

Your WhatsApp number has a quality rating assigned by Meta. If it drops too low, your messaging capacity gets restricted.

1. In Meta Business Manager, go to Account Tools > Phone Numbers.
2. Check the quality rating next to your number: High, Medium, or Low.
3. If the rating is Medium or Low, review recent conversations for messages that led to blocks or reports.
4. Reduce the frequency of outbound messages and improve message relevance to recover your rating.
5. Check your number's messaging limits — these increase automatically as quality improves.

{% hint style="warning" %}
A Low quality rating can result in your number being restricted from sending messages. Monitor this weekly, especially after running high-volume campaigns.
{% endhint %}

If your number gets flagged, contact Meta support through Business Manager directly.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.patagon.ai/en/marketing-and-attribution/whatsapp-number-health.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
